• Warping. A creaking sound heard from the components is a sign of it. As a rule, it becomes stronger when accelerating. Irregularities on the surface of the parts are often caused by gravel and sand from the road. Besides, motorcycle brake discs - especially sports ones - become deformed due to overheating caused by extreme loads.

• Usually, an inappropriate condition of the components can be noticed without anybody’s help. For example, irregularities can be easily felt to the touch.
• It is recommended to replace the components together with brake pads. Even if the latter ones aren’t worn out, they won’t fit the new parts sufficiently tightly. As a result, braking efficiency will decrease.
• These components should be installed using a torque wrench in order to apply a particular tightening torque. This parameter is specified in the bike manual.
