Historical highlights of the brand
In 1959, the company that used to sell imported vehicles obtained a licence to produce two-wheelers and three-wheelers. The products of the brand soon became very popular and in 1981 the company had more than one million orders for motorcycles. The collaboration with the Kawasaki Heavy Industries encouraged the brand’s success. The first result of their partnership was a motorcycle with a 0.1 l engine built in 1986.
Having gained recognition in India, the brand started to export bikes in 2001. They were in great demand in many countries. In particular, during 2008, more than half a million units were sold abroad. By 2011, this value doubled. The products of the brand won prestigious awards many times.
